What's Up With The Rhino?

This sweet fellow is taken from Albrecht Dürer's 1515 pen and ink drawing of the mighty rhinocerous.

As Dürer never actually saw a real rhinocerous and had only the stories of others to influence his work, we could think of no better mascot for Sans Sheriff. (Once we modified his posture to more closely resemble the office dog.)

The butterfly is an homage to Ferdinand the Bull.
